Also: "Dreams of Paradise" acrylic paintings by Julia Ceo Nemeth.
Julia was born and raised in Vitoria da Conquista, Bahia, Brazil in April 09, 1967 and came to USA in 1993. She started to paint in 2011 whenever life was a little complicated and when she was painting there was this peaceful feeling inside of her turning the adversities and frustrations of her existence into this feeling of being at peace in her own paradise. She kept painting and today has over a 100 paintings. They are her healing power that comes from within and she absolutely loves the ability to paint her own colorful paradise. Her university?? Life itself.

The Emerald Art Center presented an exhibit (January 2021) by the "Plein Air Pandemic Painters". The year 2020 held challenges with its many shutdowns, social distancing and isolation. What was an artist to do for fellowship and easel time? Why, get creative! Hence the genesis for the group of “Painting Pals.” They sketched and painted their way from May until November at such locales as the Owen Memorial Rose Garden, Hendricks Park, Mt. Pisgah, the 5th Street Market, and other scenic spots that captured their creative fancy, as well as some delightful back yards. They are delighted to share a sampling of their art with you.
