Katherine Boro

Katherine BoroKatherine was born underneath the expansive turquoise blue sky in Omaha, Nebraska. She is a Visual Artist. She graduated with Honors from her Finger Painting class in kindergarten. She then advanced towards “Paint by Numbers” on canvases. Her highest degree was received from the school of Passion, which is located in the realm of her Heart, from which her Soul Paintings and photographs of today originates. Her brush strokes are visual emotions from her journey’s walk influenced from the rhythm of Mother Nature. Her paintings have been described as both mystical and enchanting. Her photographs are serendipity extensions from her magical moments of visual creation. She particularly likes the god flow of the Impressionists. She also enjoys Picasso, M.C. Escher, Dali and Georgia O’Keeffe. Her earliest inspiration in photography came about from Annie Liebovitz, Ansel Adams and Henri Cartier-Bresson. Many years ago, when finishing one of her soul paintings, entitled, “Bleeding Heart”, she automatically signed her name as Kata. And years following this event, she added the butterfly symbol, which is actually her first and last initials in mirror reflection. This symbol came to her in a dream. Butterflies are messengers of the moment. She is the Butterfly. She is forever a child playing and planting new seeds in her Miracle Mystery Garden. Kata volunteers as a guide/teacher for the Youth Art Works program at Emerald Art Center in downtown Springfield, Oregon.[/vc_column_text][vc_masonry_media_grid element_width="3" grid_id="vc_gid:1516390257422-5ac2ca89-b14e-0" include="2519,2520,2521,2522"]
