Carol PlaiaCarol has made art since her earliest memory, earned her living as an artist of one kind or another for most of her adult life, and is self-taught. She is now retired, and no longer makes “art on demand.” She has made wearable, fine art masks since 1984, and costumes since the late 1960s. She is a dedicated advocate for artists, having served for many years on various boards, committees, and commissions. Since retiring, she has explored painting, clay sculpture, and photo montage.
