The Emerald Art Center is proud to announce the 20th Annual Emerald Spring Exhibition 2026 

– a national painting juried competition featuring 67 outstanding paintings selected from a competitive field of 324 entries.

The chosen works represent a wide geographic range, with entrants

from  as far away as Vermont, Texas, and Florida, highlighting the

national reach and artistic diversity of this milestone exhibition.
Now in its twentieth year, the program continues to draw both
emerging and established painters. Each year Emerald Art Center
issues a Call to Artists via the CaFÉ (Call for Entry) website and
promotes the opportunity locally to ensure a broad and inclusive
pool of applicants. This year’s juror reviewed the submissions

to assemble a cohesive and compelling exhibition that showcases

contemporary trends and individual artistic voices in painting.
Portland artist Leslie Tejada served as juror for this milestone

exhibition. Over $5,000 in cash prizes will be awarded.
