Drawing is the foundation of my art using a variety of mediums, pastel, colored pencils, pen and ink, mixed media, and calligraphy.  Subjects sometimes suggest using one medium over another to portray my ideas. Calligraphy in verse, witting sayings, personal commissions, such as family trees, marriage and birth certificates — all are accepted as part of my studio work.
