
Clinton W. Conley, MFA, has over 40 years of experience in art education and has worked in a variety of artistic media. His specialties include plein-air watercolor painting, commercial stained glass, and sculpture. He was a member and past-president of Santa Rosa Artists' Guild in Northern California and a member of the Society of Western Artists, San Fransisco. He has shown in galleries, one-man shows, and private homes from California's Bay Area to the Mendocino Coast. As creative director for Rio Glass Works in California and Creative Glass Design Inc. in Texas, he designed and managed production of stained glass windows for churches, schools, hospitals,and private residences from Puerto Rico to Palua, and from Texas to Alaska.
Clinton and his wife Lavonne moved to Lane County in 2005 to be near their children and grand children. He currently enjoys membership in the Emerald Empire Art Association in Springfield, Oregon, and relishes painting on location to more closely capture the local color and charm of each season. |
