Watercolors have always been a favorite medium of Carol's. For the past 15 years she has been perfecting her love.
She reflects wistfully, "I love picking up my brush everyday and being immersed in capturing on paper the beauty of nature's creations."
Flowers are her favorite but she paints just about anything that captures her eye. She has studied under wonderful artists such as famed San Francisco area watercolor artist Jade Fon Woo and has painted brilliant snow scenes in Montana's Gallatin Valley with Ray Campeau.
Since living in Oregon for the past twelve years she has taken several workshops with noted artists throughout the western United States. She strives to make each painting look alive with brilliant colors and clarity.
Carol has participated in many juried shows with Honors and awards coming her way. She is a member of the Watercolor Society of Oregon and Emerald Art Center in Springfield, Oregon.
Carol resides in Eugene, Oregon with her husband, Dale.
